Springfield Township Recreation Presents:
Columbus Day Family Camping in the Park
Where: Juliustown Park
When: Setup 2:00 pm Sunday October 10, 2010
Packup : 9:30 am Monday October 11, 2010
The township is opening Juliustown Park for Tent Camping for one night.
This is a family event open to the first 25 families that apply.
There will be snacks and hot beverages (marshmallows, cookies, hot chocolate, and coffee) a Bonfire and Storytelling..
Details:
Charcoal Grills and a portable Toilet will be available.
You need to Bring:
- Tent(s) and sleeping bags.
- Food and non-alcholic beverages
- Charcoal for grilling
- Flashlights
- Limited to first 25 families
- Assistance will be available for those who need help setting up tents
- Children must be supervised by their parents at all times
- Tents only, no campers/RV’s
- No pets
- Camp-out will be canceled if there is inclement weather – check recreation website for notice
